Legal
End user license agreement (EULA)
This agreement licenses the People Ask Also software and related programmatic interfaces to you.
Effective date: May 11, 2026
1. License grant
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and People Ask Also for the software, hosted applications, client libraries, documentation, and updates that make up the Service (the “Software”). Our Terms of use also apply; if there is a conflict about software licensing, this EULA controls for the Software.
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and your plan limits, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Software during your subscription or trial solely for your internal business purposes.
2. License restrictions
Except as expressly permitted, you may not:
- copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code or underlying models, except where law forbids this restriction;
- remove proprietary notices or license keys;
- rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or distribute the Software to third parties;
- use the Software to build a competing product or service that substitutes for People Ask Also;
- use the Software in violation of export-control or sanctions laws.
3. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. People Ask Also and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in this EULA.
4. API and programmatic access
API keys, webhooks, and related credentials are confidential. You are responsible for use under your keys. Rate limits, concurrency caps, and fair-use rules in our documentation are part of this license. We may throttle or revoke keys that threaten stability or violate the Terms of use.
5. Updates and support
We may provide updates, patches, or new features at our discretion. Some updates may be required for continued access. Support levels depend on your plan. We do not guarantee backward compatibility for every API version indefinitely.
6. Open-source components
The Software may include open-source components governed by separate licenses. To the extent those licenses grant you rights that conflict with this EULA, those component licenses prevail for the affected portions only.
7. Limited warranty disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE IS SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN THE Terms of use.
9. Term and termination
This EULA is effective when you first access the Software and continues until your access ends. It terminates automatically if you breach it or your subscription ends. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and destroy confidential materials in your possession. Sections that should survive termination will survive.
